Some African teams will return to EA FIFA with the launch of FIFA 23, however, it is possible that there will only be five added in total.
African players would have notably missed their national teams in the latest version of FIFA, due to a licensing issue.
However, the next version - and the last by Electronic Arts before the arrival of EA SPORTS FC - is set to include a World Cup mode.

Because of this, the five African teams that qualified for the tournament are set to be included in the game.
Bafana Bafana missed out on the tournament, so South African fans are perhaps set for disappointment, but Senegal, Cameroon, Morocco, Ghana, and Tunisia are set to be included, according to Optic Flux.
There were some rumours that FIFA 23 may appear at the Summer Game Fest, which got underway on Thursday 9 June, but it was not present in the opening showcase event.
