Kaylan Moodley is among the eight competitors who will battle it out in the Middle East & Africa leg of the FIFA 20 Summer Series.

A member of MBCeSports, Kaylan, as he is known in gaming circles, has already pocketed $1000 this year after his stage four finish in the Champions Cup back in February. Kaylan would pocket the same amount of prize money if he finished in the last two places at this event.
However, the first prize on offer in the Summer Cup is a whopping $10 000 (R172 000), and Kaylan will be the only participant from South Africa.
Second place is worth $7500 (R129 000) while a third place finish with earn $5000 (R86 000)
Egyptian player, Ramy, is the only other player from the African continent with all the other competitors hailing from the Middle East (two from Turkey, two from Saudia Arabia and one from Israel).
Both African stars face off in the very first round, with Kaylan taking on Ramy in Group B.
The tournament was postponed following the explosion in Beirut, but the official competitive FIFA Twitter account confirmed that the event will take place from 24-26 August 2020.
