Manyama finalised his multi-million rand move to Atiker Konyaspor today after the Siya crew revealed last week that Cape Town City had agreed to the transfer. City subsequently confirmed the news, and indicated that the transfer was subject to a medical.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who has been handed the number 10 jersey, arrived at the club today to complete his medical, with Konyaspor having now unveiled the player to the Turkish media.
Atakliyan, who orchestrated the move, has suggested that Manayama will be the first of many players to head abroad, and while he has already identified two special talents, he would not divulge the players names at this point in time.
He told the crew, “Yes, there are two more players I am looking at but I can’t tell you the names now. I must see if the teams will allow us to talk, but I have identified two more players for next year.
“I can’t say for now, let’s see what happens,” explained Cape Town-based football representative, Atakliyan.
