Chiefs Want Jali!
Kaizer Chiefs Are Monitoring Andile Jali
Kaizer Chiefs are investigating the possibility of making a move for KV Oostende's Andile Jali, with the former Orlando Pirates man struggling for game time in Belgium.
The 26-year-old looked to have solidified his spot with Oostende as he played almost all of their matches during the 2015/16 campaign, but in 2016/17 he's played only seven league matches and will no doubt be growing more frustrated as time goes on.
Jali does still has a year and a half left on his contract in Belgium – with Oostende unlikely to want to see him leave on the cheap – however, he does have the same agent, Mike Makaab, who helped get Anele Ngoncgca get out of his Racing Genk contract before joining Mamelodi Sundowns.
At this stage, while Jali will be desperate to play more football, it remains to be seen whether or not he would entertain a return to the PSL, although his name has been brought up at Naturena.
As reported in this week's issue of Soccer Laduma, Chiefs are considering the viability of making a move for the Bafana Bafana international, and the Siya crew will continue to monitor the situation in the coming months.
