Striker Paulo Dybala has often been compared to his countryman Lionel Messi, and many believed the 23-year-old would join one of the two Spanish giants after the season.

However, following his brace in a Man of the Match performance against the Blaugrana, Juventus have now confirmed the forward has extended his deal until June 2022.

"I've always just wanted to succeed in everything that I do and I know that Juventus is the perfect place to be if you want to win things," Dybala told Juventus' official website.

The Argentine joined Juventus for €33.7 million from Palermo in 2015, and has since scored 39 goals and assisted another 17 strikes in 82 appearances for the Serie A giants.

Do you think Dybala can replace Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the world's best player? Have your say in the comments section below.

Juve is in busines. He will break the Pogba record. As for replacing the two longest standing football greats no ways. Those two guys are something else. You need to be at yur best for 7-8 years @ least n not just a one or two season wonder nor hot n cold like Hazard to beat them

No he wont rich the standard of those 2 guys. 39 goals in 82 matches is way below the standard of Messi and CR7. my we can assume that he riches the standard the likes of Suarez & Ibra not Messi & CR7
