Raga Bolo: Activation Has Begun

Smirnoff Raga Bolo: Activation Has Begun

By Soccer Laduma - Nov 29, 2016 11:41 AM

Maqando Fudu, the 2016 Smirnoff Raga Bolo Street Soccer Championship winners, got a taste of what it’s like to be soccer stars for a day.

This Umlazi star-studded team showed-up at the studio in style, where they were scheduled for their official Smirnoff Raga Bolo photoshoot with legendary photographer Craig Kolesky. The A-list treatment they received on-set made all those hard hours of training to be national champs worth it. A first for these champions, who mostly come from humble beginnings, the reward was in being the faces of the 2017 campaign as well as shining examples for their communities.

Kitted out in their photoshoot-fresh Smirnoff red and white strip, they looked every bit like the pros that they grew up aspiring to be. Raga Bolo has been a game changer in that it’s made the dreams of ordinary people come true, irrespective of their backgrounds or financial status.

For this reason, it can rightly be called the people’s event, a game to which everyone is invited. To witness this winning team do their thing behind-the-scenes and share their experience — in between creating their iconic Smirnoff Raga Bolo team shot — visit the 1818Clubhouse Facebook Page.

A reminder to also vote for the next Raga Bolo KINGs activation on the 1818clubhouse Facebook page. The next KINGs visit will see 2 of our PSL legends visit either PE, East London or Khayelitsha on 10 December. It’s up to you to decide where they go, so cast your vote now.

Rep Your Kasi with Smirnoff. Everyone’s Invited. Not for Sale to Persons Under the Age of 18.
