South African Youngster Awaits Paperwork Before Turning Out In Europe

Craig Joemath, who recently signed a deal with Danish outfit, FC Helsingor is currently awaiting his working VISA before turning out for the club.

As reported in last week’s edition of Soccer Laduma, Ikapa Sporting’s Technical Director confirmed to the Siya crew that their young defender, Joemath has signed for the Scandinavian club after impressing on trial in Denmark.

However, the player’s representative, Lance Davids from On Target Football Consultants has since informed Soccer Laduma that the youngster is still awaiting paperwork before donning the Helsingor colours.

“The reality is, the boy made his trial and everything. The deal was done on the last day of the transfer window and because Ikapa didn’t have the FIFA TMS System, we had to wait after the window period for Ikapa to go train and get the system and then FIFA approved it,” Davids revealed.

“The club’s paperwork was up to standard from the Danish side because they did all their documents and uploaded everything how it should be. But the reason it didn’t happen on the deadline was because of Ikapa... they didn’t have the TMS.”

“They’ve done it after the transfer window and that is why the delay happened and now the boy (Joemath) is still waiting for his working permit visa because of the whole process that Ikapa was not registered with the TMS,” he added.
