May Mahlangu's Torku Konyaspor were dumped out of the Turkish Cup after losing 4-1 to Galatasaray on Thursday evening.

Mahlangu's started his first game for Konyaspor, after coming off the bench in his last two games, since making the move to Turkey on deadline day.

However, it was not the full debut Mahlangu was expecting, as Galatasaray scored four goals in the opening half, although Konyaspor did grab a consolation through Ciprian Marica in the 20th minute.

The banned Bafana Bafana midfielder was eventually replaced in the 69th minute, with the game already out of Konyaspor's reach.

Mahlangu's Konyaspor return to league action on Sunday afternoon with a clash at home to Sivasspor.
