Reports: Jali Attracts English Interest
Bafana Bafana international, Andile Jali, is attracting interest from England according to reports in Belgium, however there has been no team named as yet.
The 26-year-old midfielder played 35 league games for KV Oostende last time out as he enjoyed his second full campaign with the club, however an injury in preseason has meant that he’s yet to feature in the 2016/17 season so far.
Jali has been improving nicely in the Belgian Pro League since joining Oostende from Orlando Pirates back in 2013, and it appears that his performances for club and country have not gone unnoticed.
According to Het Nieuwsblad in Belgium, an unnamed English Championship side has shown an interest in landing the former Buccaneer, however they added that it would take a substantial offer in order to persuade his club to consider selling the South African.
Jali has a contract with Oostende that runs until 2018, and given that he has played 65 league games over the past two seasons, they will be reluctant to let him leave unless a hefty bid comes in for him.
