SA Starlet Turns Down Serie A
South African teenager, Luther Singh, has apparently turned down the chance to join Italian Serie A club, Pescara, as he waits to become a free agent in November.

The 19-year-old has been in fine form for GAIS this year, his first full season in Europe since leaving Stars of Africa Academy, and has gone on to attract interest from several big clubs on the continent.
It has previously been reported that Real Madrid’s B side are monitoring his progress, while English Premier League outfit, Swansea City, are also said to be keen on him.
However, aside from the interest, Pescara are the only club to have made an official bid for the player – they submitted it last week – but Singh seems to believe that he will have better options if he waits until he becomes a free agent in a few months.
It appears that his side were not happy with his decision to reject Pescara – as they would have made money had he left – and they consequently relegated him to the bench in their 3-1 victory over the weekend.
It remains to be seen what other offers the player will have on the table come the end of his contract, however, he will no doubt be hoping that he doesn’t rue the chance to head to one of the biggest leagues in the world in the current transfer window.
