Per a statement on its official website, Belarusian Premier League campaigners Dinamo Minsk have announced that it has reached an agreement with Chigozie Udoji.
The financial details and longevity of the contract the 27 - year – old attacking midfielder signed were not disclosed.
Chigozie Udoji arrived in Dinamo Minsk as a free agent, having terminated his contract with Greece Super League team Aris Thessaloniki last December over unpaid wages.
In his first words after the transfer was completed, Udoji told the club's official website: “I feel comfortable in Dinamo Minsk. This is my new team - the new beginning. I am determined to work there and I have a great desire to play. “
“I'm ready to fight for the championship. Become a champion - it is very important for a football player.”
“I have a great impression on the team. It has great potential. Players want to work hard and want to win. It's a good motivation for me in this team.”
SL 10 can exclusively report that Dinamo Minsk saw off competition from Rizespor, Turkey and Metalist Kharkiv to land the signature of the onetime Bulgaria youth international.
Chigozie Udoji has worn the jerseys of CSKA Sofia and Asteras Tripolis in the past.
Out of favour Nigeria international Christian Obodo was on the payroll of the capital club last season.
