Patosi Picks Up Hazard’s Jersey
Lokeren’s South African attacker, Ayanda Patosi, has a new jersey for his collection after being given the shirt of Chelsea and Belgium star, Eden Hazard.
Patosi, who has been in fine form for Lokeren so far this season, was handed the shirt by Erwin Lemmens, the current goalkeeper coach for both Lokeren and the Belgian national team.
Speaking to the Siya crew about the shirt, the 22-year-old said, “Hazard is a role model of mine, somebody that I really look up to. Our goalkeeper coach, who also works with the national team, asked Eden for one and then gave it to me. We share the same number.”
With five goals and six assists so far, Patosi has directly contributed to 11 Lokeren goals this season, a tally that he will be hoping to add to in the coming weeks as the Belgian Jupiler League season draws to a close.
