Real Madrid are reportedly keen to make some changes to their squad and Cristiano Ronaldo has now allegedly told the club’s bosses to buy this player.
The Portuguese is among the most influential figures at the Santiago Bernabeu and although it remains questionable whether he can have an impact on the club’s transfer business, he has allegedly given the club’s bosses some advice.
According to Spanish publication Diario Gol, Ronaldo believes Real should sign his countryman, FC Porto forward, Andre Silva.
The 21-year-old has scored 21 goals and assisted another eight this season, and the report claims Ronaldo has told the club’s bosses to look into signing him.
Silva made his Portugal debut after their UEFA European Championship triumph in 2016 and has since scored five goals in six appearances.
The Los Blancos superstar allegedly believes Silva would be a cheaper option to Paulo Dybala and Kylian Mbappe, who are both linked with the club.
Real president Florentino Perez is understood to be keen on making two ‘Galactico’ signings in the upcoming window.
It remains to be seen how Silva would fit into Perez’s plans and whether the club would indeed listen to their all-time record scorer.
