Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas are all rumoured to leave Real Madrid, but can you imagine a Los Blancos’ side without the three superstars?
David De Gea’s arrival at Bernabeu could have a major knock-on effect with Casillas likely to leave the club after insisting he won’t sit on the bench again.
Latest reports have suggested that De Gea could become part of a swap deal with Ramos after the latter’s latest contract talks have reportedly been stalled.
The defender is massively linked with Manchester United and it seems he could follow Angel Di Maria (2014) and Mesut Ozil (2013) to leave the club after contract talks broke down.
It is yet to be seen how Ramos’ potential departure would go down with Ronaldo. Ramos and Casillas are both key figures in the club’s dressing room and Ronaldo could perhaps decide to follow them out.
The Portuguese already showed his dissatisfaction with Ozil’s and Di Maria’s departure and could now be fed up, if Ramos and Casillas would, in fact, leave.
Club president, Florentino Perez has two busy weeks before the pre-season starts ahead of him and the fans would surely question his leadership if the trio would not stay at the club.
The trio combined have made 1481 appearances for the club and their experience would be easily or nor cheapily to be replaced.
