An FC Barcelona star has spoken highly of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese forward will not play in his country's two matches during this international break, and new Barca signing Andre Gomes, who plays alongside Ronaldo for Portugal, has hailed the great example the 31-year-old is for his colleagues.
"He is a very important player, who is always present and ready to play," he said at a press conference, according to Marca.
"He is very serious about the responsibility of leading our country, we have great spirit, and he's a great example for all of us."
Gomes, who joined the Blaugrana in July, was also asked about life at the Camp Nou so far.
"It's a very happy moment for me, but now I want to concentrate on the national team and give my best."
The 23-year-old, who has represented Portugal on 13 occasions, has already featured twice for the Catalan giants this season.
