Former Manchester City and Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has revealed who he believes should win the Ballon d’Or.

Many fans and pundits alike are backing either Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo or FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi for the accolade, but not Balotelli.

The Italian feels that while the two superstars are among the favourites, he believes the Catalan club’s Luis Suarez deserves the award more than the others.

"Cristiano, Messi or Suarez will win," he told Telefoot.

"But to be honest, I would give it to Suarez."

Suarez recently spoke about his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or, saying that he believes he stands no chance because he is less marketable than Ronaldo and Messi.

The winner of the Ballon d’Or will be announced before the end of the year.
