According to French publication Le 10 Sport, the Blaugrana have a "deal agreed" with Atletico Madrid for striker Antoine Griezmann.
The report stated that the France international has already decided he will leave Diego Simeone's side at the end of this season.
Griezmann, who is now believed to be Barcelona's No. 1 transfer target, can play in multiple positions across the front line, and it is this versatility the Catalan club is said to be looking for in a player.
The Spanish giants will reportedly activate the Frenchman's €100 million (R1.7 million) release clause in the upcoming January window.
Many expected the Red Devils to sign the 26-year-old at the beginning of this season, but he decided to stay at his current club for one more season.
