Arsenal and Manchester City are reportedly chasing AS Monaco striker, Radamel Falcao, for around £55 million.
The Colombia striker has reportedly been offered to both clubs as Arsenal seek to find a replacement for the injured Olivier Giroud.
The Gunners’ fans implored Arsene Wenger to buy a quality forward after Yaya Sanogo put in another disappointing performance in the 1-1 draw against Leicester on Sunday.
City, meanwhile, are understood to be keen on the striker following their shocking 1-0 home defeat to Stoke on Saturday.
However, Financial Fair Play allows the Citizens only to spend further £24 million this window in order to apply with the allowed net spend of £49 million.
But Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly keen to offload Alvaro Negredo, Micah Richards, Matija Nastasic and Scott Sinclair before the end of the day.
Another option would be to loan Falcao for around £20 million (£10 million fee and another £10 million in wages) and the Colombia striker is also linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Falcao deleted a tweet on Saturday that indicated he was moving to the Los Blancos and claimed his account has been hacked.
