Bale, Kaka, Eto'o Headline Debut Weekend

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has confirmed that Gareth Bale will make his debut for Los Blancos when they take on Villarreal at El Madrigal this weekend.

The Welshman has come through two days of training at his new club, and along with Asier Illarramendi, will make his first appearance for Madrid against the Yellow Submarine.

"Bale will travel to Villarreal and will play. I'm not sure if he will start or come off from the bench," Ancelotti said, adding that the former Spurs man will play “on the right-hand side of the attack”.

“Bale came here without having a normal pre-season, but his condition is not bad,” Ancelotti explained.

“He will travel tomorrow, and he will play. He has no injuries, he is excited and very motivated.

"He's arrived full of enthusiasm and he is very happy to be at the team he wanted to join. He is a humble player who likes to be with his team-mates. He fits in well with the squad."

This will be a weekend of eye-catching debuts across Europe, as the players signed on transfer deadline begin playing for their new clubs.

Another match that will captivate audiences will be AC Milan’s clash against Torino on Saturday.

The game will herald the second coming of club icon Kaka, and he cannot wait for the ref to blow the whistle.

"I'm going to be as emotional as I was ten years ago. I'm ready for my debut," said the Brazilian, who currently has 95 goals for Milan to his name.

"I don't know how many goals I can score, but I'd like to make 100."

Mesut Ozil’s bow for Arsenal, Samuel Eto’o’s long-awaited shot at the EPL with Chelsea, the first match at Spurs for players like Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela, and Mamadou Sakho’s debut for Liverpool will also make headlines.

Exciting Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku, will have to wait for his Everton debut however, because the Toffees are playing his parent team Chelsea, and he is not allowed to play against them.
