The Siya crew reported back in January that the 32-year-old was wanted by Sammy Troughton as Stellenbosch look to try and secure a spot in the Absa Premiership, and they will be hoping that Niang's experience can help them in their promotion push.
Niang confirmed the move on his Instagram account today, saying: "Done deal. Alllah is the one. Thank you again."
The forward has signed with Stellenbosch until the end of the season, and will be hoping to regain his scoring touch after a lengthy spell off the field.
