Pep Guardiola has revealed why Yaya Toure missed Manchester City's latest match, and appeared to aim a minor jibe at his Manchester United rival Jose Mourinho.

Toure was once again missing from the Spaniard's match-day squad for the club's 4-0 win over AFC Bournemouth, despite players such as David Silva, Fernando, and Sergio Aguero all being unavailable for the game.
"Yaya had a migraine in the last three days. He was not here for the last three days," Guardiola explained, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.
The four-time African Player of the Year is yet to feature in any of Guardiola's Premier League match-day squads this season, and has played in only one game under the new City boss so far.
Guardiola's men easily brushed Bournemouth aside, and the former FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss appeared to mock his rival Mourinho when he suggested that the Cherries – not United a week before – were the best team his side had faced so far this campaign.
"Bournemouth was, until now, the best team, who create more problems when they have the ball. The other teams play long balls and they want to play and our high pressing was not perfect," he added.
"The quality of our players made the difference. I'm very pleased because I know against which team we won."

Guardiola's Citizens continued their 100% record under the new coach, and now lead the Premier League table by two points over second-placed Everton, while United are already six points off the pace after just five games.
