Players such as Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku have been signed ahead of the 2017/18 season, but reports claim Mourinho is not finished in the transfer market.
The Belgian forward is expected to lead the line for the Red Devils, while the English publication also included four players who are still being linked to the club.
Monaco’s Fabinho has been picked at right-back, Celtic’s Kieran Tierney at left-back, Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic in the midfield, and Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic on the right side of the attack.
Spanish international David de Gea was selected in goal, while Ivory Coast centre-back Eric Bailly partners former Benfica defender Lindelof.
Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba are tipped to play alongside Matic, perhaps with more freedom to roam than the Serbian.
The Independent selected Marcus Rashford as the other winger over Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
