The Portuguese recently criticised Luke Shaw once again, saying the England international is far behind the rest of his teammates.
Shaw's lack of involvement this season has come as a surprise to many, and it has been reported that the left back could be on his way out of the club, according to English media. Mourinho has publicly lambasted the player, which has reportedly led to the player feeling frustrated.
According to Tuttosport, Italian defender Matteo Darmian has been linked with a move back to Italy, with Inter Milan said to be interested in his services, while captain Wayne Rooney has also been tipped to leave United in the next transfer window, reports The Sun.
Dutch defender Daley Blind is another player who could leave the club, along with Englishman Ashley Young, who Mourinho has admitted was close to leaving Old Trafford in the January transfer window.
Anthony Martial, who has, at times, also been criticised by the former Chelsea boss, is said to be wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, while veterans Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Michael Carrick will see their contracts expire at the end of the campaign.
Both of them could, of course, still sign new deals with the club, although there has been no indication of that happening as yet.
Which of these players do you think Mourinho should try to keep at United? Let us know in the comments section below.
