Former Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has slammed Pep Guardiola for not using Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller’s talent properly.
The legendary goalkeeper feels that the former Barcelona boss isn’t using Gotze’s talent, and also highlighted that Thomas Muller is playing out of position – saying that these issues need to be resolved.
“Guardiola gives Gotze minutes when the game is already over,” he told ZDF.
“They don't take advantage of his talent.
“Muller is playing in the wrong position as well.
“These problems, with two big players from Germany, must be resolved.”
Gotze started as a substitute in both of Bayern’s Champions League semi-final matches against Barcelona, and both times he was brought on with little time to have any impact.
Muller recently had a touchline dispute with Guardiola, after he was taken off in the semi-final first-leg against the Catalan club.
Gotze has played 46 games this season, scoring 15 goals, while Muller has also played 46 games, scoring 21 times.
