The 20 African nations that have qualified for the third and final round of CAF’s Russia 2018 qualifiers will have to wait until June to hear their opponents.

After doing some digging, the Siya crew has been informed that the official draw for Africa’s WCQ Third Round takes place in June 2016, with first round of matches in the group taking place in October of the same year.
The current system of World Cup Qualification for CAF sees the continent’s nations work through three rounds of qualifiers, with 20 going into the third round where they are drawn into five groups consisting of four teams each.
Each team will play their three group opponents both home and away, with the winners of Groups A to E securing their spot in the finals of Russia 2018.
