Bafana Bafana winger, Ayanda Patosi, will not feature in tomorrow’s Nelson Mandela Challenge after being released from camp for a family commitment.
Patosi, who didn’t feature at all in this weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Mauritania, will not feature in the clash with Senegal on Tuesday evening, and is expected to return to Belgium once his family matter has been sorted.
The PSL’s official Twitter account confirmed the news, saying, “Ayanda Patosi has been released from camp due to an urgent family commitment.”
Lokeren’s 22-year-old South African attacker was in hot water in Belgium recently after reportedly going AWOL from training, however has since returned and featured in their last league game.
The forward was expected to feature against the Senegalese on Tuesday night, however Shakes Mashaba will have to do without him as they seek to claim victory in honour of Madiba.
