A former FC Barcelona star could reportedly be on his way to a shock club in the Premier League.

According to Yahoo Sports, Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry into the possibility of signing Brazilian right back Dani Alves from Italian giants Juventus.

It has been widely reported that English fullback Kyle Walker is set to leave the London club, with rumours suggesting he could join up with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

Spurs have shown a preference for youth in previous years, but could look to Alves for his experience in Europe.

The Selecao star has been in excellent form for Juventus in recent weeks, with the Brazilian playing a part in every goal scored by his team in the two legs of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie against Monaco.

The player assisted both goals in the Bianconeri's 2-0 win in the first leg, and set up one strike and scored the other in their 2-1 victory in the return fixture.

Spurs reportedly want to give Alves a two-year deal in London, although it is likely the player will take his time to decide his future.

Walker's very quick and vigilant, barca should look at players like these since they don't have a decent right back or beg Alves to come back cos he won't be winning titles at Spurs for sure.

Its not easy to leave Juventus for Tottenham bcz for Juventus is where they build a strong team since they lost the likes of Edgar Davids until nw they where struggling to get a strong team and Khedira,Alves,Dyabala and Makhisio is their best for nw, if they allow other team to snap one of them its gonna be a step back for the team

Its really disappointing of spur to bring to their squad a 35 years old instead of getting younger players

It will be nice to see Spurs pushing for league next season with the quality of Alves. I was disappointed with my team Barça to let him go
