Yellow card for Mee after he pulled back Vardy as the striker looked to break away.
CHANCE! Mahrez with some silky feet to get into the space in the box to shoot but Pope saves well. Burnley aren't clear as it comes back again and Mahrez shoots from the edge of the box but it's harmlessly wide.
Full time here at the King Power Stadium and Leicester come away with a 1-0 win after Gray's early opener was enough for the hosts to take all three points. Burnley were unlucky not to grab a goal but Leicester were good value for the win.
Vardy and Okazaki combine as the Japanese plays in the English forward who has space to line up a shot from range but he goes for too much power and strikes the ball poorly to see it go high and wide.
Substitution for Leicester as Gray is replaced by Okazaki.
Burnley have a corner that whipped in towards Vokes. The Welsh forward gets his head onto the ball but he just can't direct it on target and the pressure is relieved for the hosts.
We have an extended break in play as Simpson receives treatment after he was taken out by Schmeichel as the Danish keeper made a high ball his with Burnley looking to get forward late on.
It's all Leicester at the moment with the hosts camped in the Burnley half. They've had a few chances that have fallen in the way of Vardy, in particular, but the strikers touch has let him down at times.
Leicester work the ball wide to Albrighton after a quick one touch pass from Mahrez and he whips it in across the face of goal but Tarkowski gets back brilliantly to cut it out and concede a corner which Mahrez plays into the hands of Pope.
Substitution for Burnley as they make their third and final change. Wood comes off, after not having had much service since Brady was forced off, and he's replaced by Vokes.
WOODWORK! Gray has a great chance after he received a cut back towards the penalty spot from Ndidi and looked to shoot first time for the far corner but his effort hits the post.
CHANCE! Mahrez, for a third time, takes the ball into his stride and bursts forward from the halfway line. He plays in Gray down the right but it's slightly over hit and the winger recovers the ball before crossing and Pope saves well.
Leicester move the ball from right to left before Mahrez plays Albrighton down the left and he drives into the box before shooting for the near post but Pope gets across well to save. Leicester have a corner but it's easily cleared by Burnley.
Second substitution of the game for Burnley as Barnes comes on to replace Defour for the visitors.
Nearly for the hosts after a loose piece of passing just outside the Burnley box ends as Albrighton looks to play in Mahrez who is nearly one-on-one with Pope but he just can't reach the pass and Pope sees it out for a goal kick.
CHANCE! Better from Burnley as Gudmundsson is played in through the middle by Hendrick and does well to elude Morgan before attempting to slot the ball past Schmeichel but the Danish goalkeeper saves well.
Defour has an effort from range for Burnley but it's easily saved as the visitors continue to look for a way back into this one. Their dominance was lost after Brady was forced off injured after posing the majority of the threat for the visitors.
OFF THE LINE! Leicester with a great chance after a ball falls into the box towards Morgan but he can't make sufficient contact. It then ricochets off of Bardsley and it's going it before the defender is able to turn and clear.
It's the first yellow card of the game as Bardsley is booked as he takes Albrighton out after the Leicester winger was played down the left wing with the hosts looking to break. It's put into the box by Albrighton but Pope comes out to slap it away.
BRILLIANT FROM BARDSLEY! Leicester look to be in as Mahrez plays a reverse ball through the defence for Albrighton to run onto and cut back for Gray who looks to shoot first time butb Bardsley produces a wonderful tackle.
CHANCE! Mahrez once again with a long run with the ball at his feet as he collects it on the halfway line and drives towards the box but his effort is deflected for a corner. The corner is played to the edge of the box and Chilwell shoots just wide!
We're back underway for the second half!
Leicester have a free kick next to the corner flag which Mahrez delivers but it goes over everyone and Ndidi has to recover the ball and then attempts to cross but it's straight in the hands of Pope.
Half time here at the King Power Stadium and Leicester go in with a 1-0 lead. Gray put the hosts ahead early after bundling the ball in. A Burnley onslaught followed, but the visitors weren't able to convert their opportunities.
CHANCE! Mahrez produces a beautiful run from midfield to get to the edge of the box before shifting the ball to his left foot and bending a shot towards the corner, but Pope is on hand to push the ball away from danger.
Wasted by Arfield as the visitors look to have a promising attack, but the substitute is too indecisive and neither passes nor shoots and the ball rolls through to Schmeichel to gather.
CHANCE! Gudmundsson does well to drive towards the byline on the right before floating a cross for Wood but the Burnley striker can't keep his header down and it goes over the bar.
Leicester look to have a bit more about them now after a good period of possession that saw them look to threaten but Tarkowksi does well to clear as Albrighton looks to play it to Vardy.
The stretcher is out for Brady and the visitors are being forced into an early change. Brady, who has been the best player on the pitch in the opening minutes of this game, is replaced by Arfield.
Long break in play here as Maguire and Brady both receive treatment after the two collided when Brady attempted to take a shot but caught Maguire after the defender cleared brilliantly.
Brady with another wonderful ball into the box from the left as he looks to find Wood. It looks to be on a platter for the New Zealand forward but Maguire somehow gets around to head away.
Leicester look to break quickly but can't find the final ball to Gray as it's cut out. The hosts do manage to get a corner, however, but Burnley deal with it easily to begin attacking once more.
Burnley look to get forward again with a long ball to Wood. Leicester are able to clear but it goes straight into path of Gudmundsson who volleys at goal but it lacks power and Schmeichel can hold.
Brady with another opportunity to deliver with a free kick in midfield but it goes a bit too far and Schmeichel gathers but he goes behind the byline and it's a corner which Brady delivers and Mee is on hand but heads over.
CHANCE! Brady puts in a brilliant delivery from a corner and Tarkowski rises highest to meet it on the six yard box but he can't direct his header on target and just misses.
Hendrick does a good bit of work on the right wing to retain possession and cross the ball hard and low. It deflects into Wood's path with just Schmeichel between him and the goal but he takes a heavy touch with his chest and Schmeichel gathers.
CHANCE! Burnley are nearly in after Brady put in a wonderful delivery for Gudmundsson but he just misses the ball with his head after being put off by Chilwell. The Icelandic midfielder should've done better.
Burnley have themselves a corner after Mahrez did well to track Ward and block the fullbacks cross. Brady delivers towards the far post to Mee but his header can't find the target with Schmeichel in no man's land.
GOAL! The hosts have an extended period of possession and shift the ball to the right for Mahrez to cut back and whip the ball in towards the far post. It goes to Pope but he pushes the ball into Gray and it goes in! 1-0.
It's been a slow start here with neither team really pushing forward much. Much of the ball has been in the possession of the Leicester defence without much progress as both sides look to feel their way into the game.
We're underway here at the King Power Stadium!
