Liverpool arrive in Manchester with a three goal advantage after the first leg at Anfield, where they also prevented City from scoring any away goals last week.
Liverpool will be without their captain Jordan Henderson, who is suspended for this clash. They are also sweating on the availability of Mohamed Salah, who has been suffering from a groin injury.
Despite being favourites to win the Premier League, City failed to secure the title last Saturday by going down in the Manchester derby to United.
City have now lost their last two matches against top four English Premier league opposition and will hope for an improved performance this evening.
