The Toyota Cup will be on Durban shores this time around after Tanzanian giants Young Africans defeated Chiefs in last year's edition at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
The Soweto giants have been hard at work in the Netherlands preparing for the new season and returned to South Africa last week.
Nasreddine Nabi's charges played a total of five matches, which included facing four Dutch Eredvisie sides and one second division outfit.
A number of the new signings were on display in all five encounters, although Siphesihle Ndlovu and Paseko Mako (injured) did not travel with the team.
