Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba has been linked with a move to the Israeli Premier League, however, there have been doubts over the striker's possible switch.
For a striker of Mothiba's caliber, it comes as no surprise that he has been linked with a number of teams since becoming a free agent in June.

So far the striker has been linked with Kaizer Chiefs, Clermont Foot 63, and Karlsruher SC, though a move has not materialized to any of these clubs.
The latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Israeli club Maccabi Haifa have emerged as a another possible destination for the 28-year-old, with the club looking to replace their recently-departed Haitian star Frantzdy Pierrot, who joined AEK Athens.
There are some concerns over Mothiba's recurring knee injury however, the Siya crew has learnt.
That Mothiba recently recovered from a patellar tendon rupture, deemed a very serious injury for footballers. has caused some concern for the Israeli club who have a rich history with South African players with Tsepo Masilela and Dino Ndlovu having both turned out for the club in years gone by.
