With Thembinkosi Lorch and Cassius Mailula still on Club World Cup euphoria, there appears to be a solid reason for them to reunite with Rulani Mokwena at MC Alger.
Lorch's future is yet to be decided, as Wydad Casablanca have been negotiating with Mamelodi Sundowns for his permanent transfer after he joined them on loan in February, largely due to the influence of Mokwena who was at Wydad.

The latest reports suggests that The Red Castle could abandon efforts to secure the former PSL Footballer of the Season, as they are not finding common ground with Sundowns with regards to a transfer fee.
Mailula, meanwhile, has returned to his parent club Toronto, after he made it clear on his farewell message that he would not be returning to Wydad.
There are rumours that the 24-year-old is not exactly happy at the United States club and would be open to a move elsewhere he could feel comfortable.
There are suggestions that MC Alger desperately need a winger and a striker in the transfer market and with Mokwena as the new head coach at the MC, Lorch and Mailula could be one of the options.
"Last year they (MC Alger) won the Algerian league fairly comfortably but if you look at where they sort of tripped in the CAF Champions League it was against Orlando Pirates, Algerians felt they were a better side over 180 minutes," Algerian journalist Maher Mezahi said on African Five-a-side podcast.

"I think even Pirates fans can concede that they (MC) had more of the ball and taking the initiative over 180 minutes, (although) Pirates were comfortable at the back, MC Alger did not create enough chances. Overall they felt they were missing one creative winger and maybe one striker.
"Remember they (MC) had the best defence in the group stages, only conceded one goal against Pirates over 180 minutes but were missing one winger to create something out of nothing," Mezahi suggested.
