We've gone back in time to when Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Bidvest Wits, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs lifted the trophy over the last eight years and now there's just one more year left.
Last year's final, coincidentally, was a carbon copy of the game that will take place on June 24th, with Matsatsantsa taking on the Buccaneers as the two clubs go in search of their third gold Nedbank Cup medal.
SuperSport won an action-packed encounter at Peter Mokaba Stadium thanks to goals from Jeremy Brockie, Bradley Grobler and Michael Boxall in a 3-2, with Stuart Baxter becoming the first head coach to lift the Nedbank trophy on two occasions.
Baxter's side beat Swallows, University of Pretoria, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Baroka on the way to the final, while Eric Tinkler watched over the Buccaneers as they marched into the showpiece.
Pirates put in a performance against bitter rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, in the Round of 16 as Tendai Ndoro bagged a brace, going on to beat Jomo Cosmos, Sundowns and Free State Stars before falling at the last hurdle.
Brockie, who scored in the final, was named as the Player of the Tournament, while Baroka's Ndivhuwo Ravhuhali landed the Young Player of the Tournament award.
