The 32 Nedbank Cup Teams Have Been Confirmed

The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the 32 teams that will take part in this year's edition of the Nedbank Cup.

Teams from the Absa Premiership, GladAfrica Championship and ABC Motsepe League will all go head-to-head in South Africa's most inclusive cup competition next year, with eight teams from the lower leagues joining the 16 top-flight teams in January's draw.

The draw is set for January 9, and especially the third-tier clubs will be hoping for a glamour tie against some of the big boys of Mzansi's football fraternity.

Absa Premiership:
AmaZulu, Baroka, Bidvest Wits, Black Leopards, Bloemfontein Celtic, Cape Town City, Chippa United, Golden Arrows, Highlands Park, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, Polokwane City, Stellenbosch, SuperSport United.

GladAfrica Championship:
Real Kings, Royal Eagles, Ajax Cape Town, Mbombela United, TS Sporting, Jomo Cosmos, TS Galaxy, Uthongathi FC.

ABC Motsepe League:
Happy Wanderers (KZN), Passion FC (Mpumalanga), Hungry Lion (Northern Cape), North West University (North West), Zizwe United (Western Cape), Super Eagles (Free State), Vaal University of Technology (Gauteng) and Amavarara (Eastern Cape).

The first round of Nedbank games will get underway on February 5 one the draw has been made next month.
