SuperSport United head coach, Eric Tinkler praised his side's defensive efforts after they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the MTN8.

Jeremy Brockie struck in the sixth to help SuperSport secure their spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.
Tinkler felt his charges couldn't match Chiefs' intensity and aggression, but he was pleased with the team's effort with defending.
"They showed a little bit more urgency than us, but that's only normal, they've had a proper full pre-season and a lot of competitive matches," Tinkler told SuperSport after the game.
"That was always going to be the fear, would we be able to match them in the urgency, aggression and intensity, and we didn't.
"We started really well, I thought defensively we were great, Morgan (Gould) I thought was phenomenal. Offensively out transition wasn't very good.
"We thought they would be looking to press us very high and we were always looking for that extra pass when we needed to get it out of those pressure zone. Unfortunately that but that is something we need to work on."
