With Kaizer Chiefs preparing for their return to continental football in the CAF Confederation Cup, Amakhosi are strengthening every aspect of their operation, both on the field and in the administrative offices.

Insiders at the club have indicated that Bosilong's appointment comes at a strategic time when the club requires an administrator who is well-versed in African football and understands the unique challenges of continental competitions.
"He will be taking over the position of Club Administrator. It's believed his main job is to oversee the club's activities in Africa. He will also be working hand in hand with the team manager in the daily running of the club between management and the players. But his appointment is expected to be finalised," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a second source stated that this expected hiring represents part of a broader organisational strengthening at Chiefs as they aim to reclaim their position among Africa's elite clubs.

"They are not just bolstering the playing squad but other areas as well. It's a process of rebuilding a strong team, and the team is not about just the playing squad but also everyone around the team. That's why they brought in people like Kabelo Bosilong. It's just the start of more professional people coming in," the second insider revealed.
Bosilong brings extensive experience in African football administration, having previously worked with the South African Football Association (SAFA), Premier Soccer League (PSL), and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in various capacities. Bosilong is expected to play a crucial role in navigating the complex logistical and administrative challenges of continental competition.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment on the appointment but received no official response at the time of publishing this story.
