The story
After weeks of promotions, the much-anticipated "Giants" documentary series launched Es’godini on Thursday evening, featuring a star-studded guest list.
This SuperSport Original series will take an intimate look into the heart of Orlando Pirates, profiling a number of players, including Thalente Mbatha and shining a light on the roles that faith, family, and football play in their lives.
The screening event saw Orlando Pirates' first team players in attendance, including former players Happy Jele, Linda Mntambo and the recently departed Zakhele Lepasa.
Football content creators and influencers, Papa Wawa, Primo 9teen Baloyi and Dedrick Shoots were also on the guestlist, with "Shaka iLembe" lead actors, Thembinkosi Brian Mthembu and Senzo Radebe in attendance.
Before the screening of the first of five episodes of 'Giants', the likes of Tshegofatso Mabasa, Nkosinathi Sibisi and Olisa Ndah led their teammates in presenting the club's new 2025/26 adidas kits across various radio stations and shows.
