The story
To stay champions year after year, it's crucial for Masandawana's players to take care of themselves off the field, which extends to skincare for some players.
Skincare has become more important for athletes over the years, with a number of local footballers such as, Linda Mntambo, Bongani Zungu as well as Downs stars Teboho Mokoena and Terrence Mashego paying closer attention to the health of their skin.
Footballers spend a fair bit of time in the sun, from daily training sessions to matchdays and the Brazilians in particular have experienced some scorching conditions in country's such as, Democratic Republic of Congo and Morocco.
When Miguel Cardoso's ballers were asked about having skincare routine by the club's social media team, some interesting answers were shared.
The likes of Denis Onyango, Iqraam Rayners, Jayden Adams, Kutlwano Letlhaku, Mosa Lebusa revealed they don't follow a skincare programme of any sort, while Kegan Johannes emphasised the importance of wearing sunscreen daily.
Mokoena mentioned Garnier, his skincare partner and Terrence Mashego mentioned the brand he co-owns, Euni Beauty.
