The story
Despite Hugo Broos selecting a relatively new-look Bafana Bafana squad, the energy and banter in the group seems as positive as ever ahead of their friendly matches against Tanzania and Mozambique.
In the content shared by Michael Morton Talks Football, PEFMO, and 10Bet South Africa Instagram accounts, fans have gotten a glimpse into the players’ personalities outside of their club environment.
The likes of goalkeeper Ricardo Goss, defender Fawaaz Basadien and midfielders Patrick Maswanganyi, Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Luke le Roux have helped maintain the strong sense of camaraderie and unity within the squad, which features a mix of new, youthful players fringe and regularly selected squad members.
Bafana meet Tanzania at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on June 6, then Mozambique at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on June 10, with Basadien set to captain vs the Taifa Stars while Nkosinathi Sibisi will claim the armband against The Mambas.
