Kaizer Chiefs started their Diski Challenge campaign with an impressive 4-2 victory over rivals Mamelodi Sundowns in the day's final clash in Soshanguve.
Sundowns were behind in the first ten minutes after Thabo Mokoena handed Chiefs the lead with Tshepo Mohlala making it two a little later.
Ofentse Mashiane gave Masandawana a lifeline seconds later, as the Amakhosi headed to halftime in front.
Kamohelo Hoala put Chiefs three goals up in the last 20 minutes while a stunner from Cassius Mailula gave Sundowns a glimmer of hopes before a penalty from Sabelo Radebe brought the clash to an end.

SuperSport United started their DStv Diski Challenge campaign with a 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates at the Giant Stadium on Saturday.
Pirates got out firing and on six minutes grabbed the lead courtesy of Azola Tshobeni, but it was cancelled out 24 minutes later through Gape Moralo.
Chippa 3-1 Black Leopards
Chippa United were in mean mood against Black Leopards in the day's first encounter after emerging 3-1 victors.
Leopards trailed in the opening exchanges through a smart finish from Thulani Mnini, but were back all square in the final minutes of the first half through Amukelani Chauke.
Kurstyn Flanagan restored Chippa's lead in the 42nd minute before Liyema Nombombo put Lidoda Duvha out of sight with the killer blow at the death.

AmaZulu made a strong start to their Diski Challenge season after slamming Golden Arrows 4-2 in a KwaZulu-Natal derby.
Usuthu had to come from behind in the second half to snatch victory, as a brace from Msindisi Ndlovu and one each from Elijah David and Tshepang Moremi.
Abafana Besthende were on target through Sakhile Makhatini 14 minutes in the first half with their second coming towards the end of the match.

Newbies Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila suffered a 1-0 defeat in their first-ever Diski Challenge match against Maritzburg United on Sunday morning.
Bongokuhle Hlongwane netted the winning strike for the Team of Choice in the first 13 minutes of the match, as Tshakhuma head back to the drawing board.
