The Buccaneers faced a tricky trip to face CS Sfaxien in last Group C encounter but emerged 1-0 winners thanks to Thabo Rakhale's chipped goal.
The result leaves Pirates on six points, meaning they sit second in the group, with Zamalek on nine and CS Sfaxien and AC Leopards on a point a piece.
The Sea Robbers welcome the Tunisians knowing a result would go a long way to helping them qualify from the group and progress to the semi-finals. Gabuza is optimistic about Bucs' chances in the continental competition and already has his eye on the prize.
"I believe we can go all the way and there's nothing that will stand in our way. Our domestic season did not go as planned because we didn't win a single trophy, so the only thing that's left to win is the Confederation Cup. We want to make the chairman and supporters proud," Gabuza said.
Domestically, Bucs have been knocked out of the MTN8 and their busy schedule could be a blessing in disguise, handing them the opportunity to bounce back quickly before they embark on their league campaign.
