Pirates players like Thabo Rakhale and Sifiso Myeni entertained the crowd with a few tricks throughout the game, but with just over ten minutes go a trick from Myeni upset a few of Sfaxien's players.
After the ball went into touch, Myeni was surrounded by a number of the Tunisian players who man-handled him and shouted at him, and took a few minutes for the referee to calm the players down and separate the teams.
In the end one of the instigators, Maher Hannachi was shown a yellow card for his reaction.
However throughout the furore, Myeni remained unfazed, even flashing a grin at his irritated opponents.
