Following his side's 2-0 win over CS Sfaxien in a CAF Confederations Cup match on Saturday night, Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler was full of praise for midfielder Issa Sarr.
Goals in each half from Thabo Rakhale and Menzi Masuku handed the Buccaneers their third win in the competition and sees them with one foot in the semifinals of the Confed Cup.
If Zamalek beat AC Leopards on Sunday it will guarantee Pirates their place in the final four of the continental competition.
Speaking after the game on Saturday night Tinkler said Sarr made the difference for his side against a Tunisian team that posed a real threat in attack.
"It was a fantastic win," said Tinkler.
"Sfaxien are a very good team going forward and are always a threat in attack.
"I thought Issa Sarr was phenomenal tonight, as was Happy Jele and Siya Sangweni. The back four were really solid.
"Sarr was especially good and won a lot of the balls in midfield.
"We caught them on the break, which is exactly what happened when we beat them last time.
"We could have had a couple more goals, but I am happy with the result."
