William Twala has had a steady start to his career at Naturena, already opening his account for the club, however was left off the list of players for the CCL to the confusion of some fans.
However, the reason the 25-year-old was left off is very simple, the Amakhosi finalised the transfer of the former Chippa United man after CAF's cut-off date for registration, meaning that he couldn't be registered at this stage.
Steve Komphela will no doubt be disappointed to not have Twala available for selection in the early stages of this year's CCL, though if they do manage to make it into the group stages he can be added to the roster during the second registration period.
Chiefs play away to the Comorian champions at Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh on Sunday at 14h00 (SA time).
