Thabo Nthethe Says There Are No Easy Games In CAF Champions League

Mamelodi Sundowns defender and interim captain, Thabo Nthethe has spoken of his team's chances in the upcoming CAF Champions League.

Mr Cool as he is affectionately known in the football fraternity spoke to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview and revealed that coach Pitso Mosimane gave him advice with regards to their upcoming Champions League fixture against Zimbabwean side Chicken Inn.

"The coach, Pitso Mosimane tells me that there are no easy games in the Champions League. There is no easy or tough draw," Nthethe said.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic skipper spoke of Masandawana's opposition, Chicken Inn, who they will face on the weekend of February 12-14.

"In the Champions League, everyone wants to win. I have heard the name Chicken Inn before. I've watched their games on video because that is how we approach our games and I think it is going to be tough for us, especially playing away in our first game," Nthethe said to Soccer Laduma.
