Pyramids have enjoyed a good campaign this season and narrowly missed out on the Egyptian Premier League title to Al Ahly.
The club, however, is still in contention to win two cup competitions as they are finalists in the CAF Champions League and Egyptian Cup.
Reports from Egyptian publication Sport El Watan revealed that the club's management took a new stance towards the players after missing out on the league.
A source said that the club's management reportedly urged the players not to focus on missing out on the league to Al Ahly, and to turn all their focus towards the continental final against Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
With Pyramids on the verge of making history, the club has also reportedly offered large bonuses to the players for successfully winning the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.
The tie remains evenly poised at 1-1 after the first leg in Pretoria and both sides have it all to play for in the second leg on Sunday in Cairo.
