England missed a chance to seal a spot in the European Championship round of 16 after drawing 0-0 with rivals Scotland on Friday evening at Wembley Stadium.
The Three Lions came in for heavy criticism after the clash and former Reds and Real Madrid midfielder Steve McManaman says the players need to start living up to their 'superstar' tag.
"We're talking about superstar players here, that's what we bigged them up as before the tournament," McManaman told ESPN.
"Harry Kane's looking for a move somewhere this summer for a huge amount of money - not on that performance he's not.
"But England don't move the ball around quick enough up to him to give him time.
"It's so lethargic with their passing.
"They could have Diego Maradona up there, they could have Cristiano Ronaldo up there - he still wouldn't get the chances."
