Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were recalled to the PSG line-up after the French Cup final last weekend , while Benjamin Pavard was fit enough to make the starting line-up.
The French giants got off to the perfect start by taking the lead on 11 minutes after Vitinha played in Desire Doue, who unselfishly teed up Achraf Hakimi to slot home his fourth goal of the campaign against his former side.
The lead was doubled nine minutes later as a swift counter attack ended with Ousmane Dembele picking out Doue, who controlled well and unleashed a volley that took a deflection and sailed past Yann Sommer.
The Italian outfit did see a bit more of the ball as the first half progressed, but they were restricted to efforts from corners, as Marcus Thuram squandered a good head chance on 37 minutes by nodding wide at the far post.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi made a double change seven minutes after the restart by throwing on Nicola Zalewski and Yann Bisseck for Federico Dimarco and Pavard.
However, PSG went on to grab a third goal in the 64th minute when Vitinha released the lively Doue, who calmly slotted beyond Sommer to complete his brace on the night.
It got worse for Inter in the final 20 minutes as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia got in on the act by bagging PSG's fourth goal with a composed finish after being sent through on goal by Dembele.
Luis Enrique's charges did not take their foot off the pedal, with substitute Senny Mayulu rounding off the scoring with six minutes to play by firing in at the near post after combining with Bradley Barcola.
PSG become the first team in history to win by a five-goal margin in a Champions League final.
