According to Spanish publication Cadena SER, the Brazil international has penned a new five-year contract in the country's capital, just days after the club announced he would be Real's new No. 7.
Vinicius has quickly grown into one of the world's leading attackers in recent campaigns, having contributed to an impressive 88 goals in all competitions over the past two seasons.
In a move set to ensure his stay in Spain is prolonged, the 14-time European champions are said to have agreed to make the 22-year-old one of the club's leading players following Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard's departures.
The publication claims that the Selecao winger's new deal will include a release clause of €1 billion (R20 billion), a figure interested teams would need to fork out if they wanted to lure him from the Santiago Bernabeu.
Furthermore, his new contract will reportedly include a loyalty clause, which is an amount he will be paid by Real if he fulfils the entire duration of the deal, while a Ballon d'Or bonus is also among the incentives agreed upon.
Vinicius joined the Madrid-based side from Flamengo in 2018 after breaking through in Brazil as a talented teenager, and is now considered one of football's rising superstars.
