Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly not giving up on Cristiano Ronaldo. Here is why only a move in 2016 would make sense.

French publication L'Equipe claim Laurent Blanc's side remain keen on the Portuguese, but only want to buy him in 2016.
Here are three reason why only a move next season would make sense:
1) Zlatan Ibrahimovic's contract with PSG expires next season and it seems likely the 33-year-old will leave the club. Once the Swede is off the club's wage bill their will be new funds to lure Ronaldo to France.
2) Ronaldo himself will be one year older in 2016, meaning his transfer value will probably drop by a couple of millions. Recent reports suggested PSG would need €125 million to get the Portuguese this window, but such a mega deal seems unlikely given PSG's Financial Fair Play obligations.
3) The Portuguese is currently just nine strikes away from becoming Los Blancos all-time record scorer and will surely not be keen to leave before writing his name in the club's history books.
